It has been 2 years since my last talk about botch at DebConf13. Since then lots of things happened:
My talk at DebConf two years ago described why analyzing dependency graphs is hard, why being able to automatically bootstrap Debian is useful and what fundamental algorithms botch provides to help with this problem.
This talk will focus on how to make practical use of botch and of bootstrap.debian.net
It will show how botch tools can be concatenated by unix pipes to create meaningful output through different combination of the (now over 50) tools the botch binary package provides.
It will give an overview of the data that is generated by bootstrap.debian.net and how to read and interpret it.
For an introduction to botch, it would probably be useful to have a look at the video of my talk from DebConf13: http://penta.debconf.org/dc13_schedule/events/984.en.html
